How do I make a referral?

Are your services and programs free?
Yes. We are funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
What areas does Kempsey Families provide support?
Kempsey Families offers services predominately in the Kempsey LGA and upon request may be able to offer supports for SHLV, FAICM and E2C into the greater Nambucca Valley
What work do you do with men?
We support men who are ready to focus on changing their use of violence, in a safe, inclusive environment. Our programs focus on engaging men in a respectful way that supports them to make changes: Engage2Change- Men’s Behaviour Change and Fixed Address- Intensive case Management
Does Kempsey Families operate on weekends or provide crisis interventions?
No. Kempsey Families is NOT an emergency crisis service.

Does Kempsey Families have any vacancies for employment?
We are an employer of choice and offer employment opportunities, student placements for TAFE NSW and universities in NSW, and volunteer options. Positions are advertised on our website and in the local media when available.

Do you have a vacancy in your Supported Playgroup?
Children ages 0- 5 years are welcome at the Supported Playgroup with support on hand. These are held at the Red Shed in Kempsey. Please Contact Us directly to find out more about vacancies.
