Student placement
We believe that the future of the service system lies with today’s students, and we strongly support students in achieving their goals.
Kempsey Families has provided many opportunities for students undertaking their required hours of study placement.
TAFE NSW Kempsey is one of our key partners. After their placement, many students find employment in local community agencies, which ensures localised and committed staffing to support vulnerable members of the community.
We also work closely with Armidale, Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, and Newcastle Universities to provide a safe, informative, and inclusive placement based on the students’ needs.
We have limited capacity, so can only offer student placements on a case-by-case basis and can’t accept every application.

Volunteer
Kempsey Families offers volunteer opportunities, while protecting our client’s privacy and confidentiality.
We value the contribution of volunteers and understand people like to ‘give back’ or develop their skills in an unpaid capacity, while looking for paid employment or when in retirement.
We have limited capacity, so can only offer volunteer places on a case-by-case basis and can’t accept every application.
