NAIDOC Week Events in the Macleay

NAIDOC Week 2026 will be celebrated from 5–12 July under the theme “50 Years of Deadly”. The theme marks the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week and recognises five decades of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander strength, leadership, culture and achievement. It is both a celebration of the people and communities who have shaped the NAIDOC movement and an opportunity to look ahead to the next generation of First Nations leaders.
