Join us for a vibrant day of community, creativity and connection at Kempsey’s Riverside Park!

It’s OK on the Macleay is a joyful celebration of inclusion, acceptance and the rich diversity that makes our community shine.

  • LGBTIQ+ community stalls promoting awareness and support
  • Free entertainment including dancing, singing and drumming—join in the rhythm!
  • Chef-inspired free lunch served with heart
  • Food trucks offering delicious bites
  • Games and activities for children and adults alike
  • Art Competition with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
  • Pooch Pawrade – our very own dog show with fun categories and prizes
  • Bring a picnic blanket, stretch out on the grass and enjoy a day filled with laughter, music and meaningful connection.

Originally started by Baylin’s Gift, this event has grown into a key moment in the Macleay calendar, now proudly presented by Kempsey Families Inc and supported by passionate locals. Kempsey Shire Council is also honoured to support this celebration.
